Ever wondered where humans came from? what was the origin of our kind? who were the first humans to ever exist?
For creationists the answer is simple: a divine supernatural being whom, with his hands, magically created a man, and from the man's rib created a woman. Who somehow along the way started having children (notice how many races there are in the world. Interesting.) and years and years after that here we are. And this is where the story ends, that is the answer and the only one.
But see, I refuse to stay with just one theory (which, I must respectfully say it is not the most logical one) and keep on going with my life as if I had the answer to everything.
Many creationists tend to challenge non-believers and ask how then did we came to be here? well, we are humble enough to admit that we do not have the answers to this questions, but we are working on it.
I read a quote from The Bible recently that said "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, on your own intelligence rely not." (Proverbs 3:5 NAB), which made me realize of how blind is the faith religious people have. I think we all have the right to believe in what we want, but see, religion is dangerous and always have been: it gives people the right and the excuse to discriminate against, to make war, to murder; and as long as this keeps happening we will keep wasting this powerful mind each of us have. I am not against a specific religion, it is religion in general. Radical Islam makes people think that they can behead any other human being who does not follow the same ideas, this takes away every right of humankind of evolving, of improving. Catholic churches keep hiding pedophiles, and as long as they are holding the hand of God, they will go to heaven and sit beside Him. Fundamentalist Mormons control their people, the Prophet (the one who is almost God himself on Earth) decides: what they should wear, where they should work, who they should marry, and finally, believe that having 3 spouses or more will open the gates of heaven for them.
And maybe this is too personal, but oh well, it's not like someone will actually read this, but, being so incredibly imperfect also makes me more convinced that this world is Godless, why? well, we are 'created to His image", but see, I can be the worst human being on Earth, doesn't that make God a
